What can be the role of the law in achieving climate change goals in the agriculture sector?

As we know, agriculture, including forestry and land-use change is one of the key sectors affected by and having an impact on climate change.

On the other side, climate goals often have an important legal and institutional underpinning; therefore, these elements are key to support the implementation of the PA and related NDCs. However, legislation addressing climate change in the agriculture sectors still in its early stages.

Join us on Monday 1st of April to learn more about the tools developed by the Development Law Service (LEGN) of the FAO & partners in response to those challenges.
